James J. Zadra

Jim Zadra 67, of New Philadelphia, passed away on Friday March 1, 2024 in Community Hospice at the Truman House in New Philadelphia. Born June 20, 1956, he was the son of the late Julius and Goldie (Summers) Zadra and a 1974 graduate of Tuscarawas Central Catholic High School.  Jim worked for Kimble Companies as an Electrician for many years. When not working, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, trips to Deerassic and other charitable events. He is preceded in death by his brother John Zadra. Jim is survived by five sisters, Kathy Zadra of Wooster, Anna (Bill) Taylor of Texas, Elizabeth Zadra of Washington, Julia (Greg) Scharon of Kentucky, Therese Zadra of Arizona. Brother Tony (Susan) Zadra and Sister in-law Donna Zadra of New Phila. Jim is also survived by nephew Joey (Jeannette) Zadra, nieces Annie (Dave) Carver, Johnna (Kyle) Winters, Mehgan (Jacob) Rohr, and Melissa Zadra. Jim also has several great nephews and nieces. In keeping with Jim’s wishes, he will be cremated and there be no services. The family will have a celebration of his life at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jim’s name to Ohio’s Hospice Truman House.
