Janet Sue Sevier-Prince

Janet Sue Sevier-Prince left this earthly realm to be with her Lord and Savior on October 24, 2020 after battling multiple illnesses and eventually, lung cancer. She was 65 years old.

It would be wrong to say that Janet lost her battle because she never stopped fighting; no matter how sick she was, she was always determined. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly looks like. She may no longer be with us, but it does not mean she lost her fight.

While with us, Janet lived life to the fullest and enjoyed her journey in this life. She was an avid lover of music and concerts, she loved reading, attending church, participating in weekly bowling leagues or softball games, going to baseball games with her family, and was an avid supporter of watching her children participate in the things they loved.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents, Junior Elwood Sevier and Beatrice Sevier and her brother, Donald Sevier.

She is survived by her husband (separated), Donald J Prince; daughter, Krista Nicole Prince of Chicago, IL; son, Todd Christopher Prince of Akron, OH; her sisters, Norma Jean Cornell of Manchester, OH and Nancy Lea Landram of Champaign, IL; and brother, Wilbert Lewis Sevier of Pittsburg, PA; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

We know that her body is fully healed and she is dancing around in heaven with her Heavenly Father. The family looks forward to celebrating her life with a memorial service to be scheduled at a later date.  Condolences and special memories can be shared with the family online at
