Janet Zelenak

Janet Zelenak born October 01, 1943 passed away peacefully on October 21, 2024 after suffering COPD and cancer. She is gone but she will not be forgotten by her family, friends and neighbors. She enjoyed talking to everyone from the store clerks checking her out to the tellers at the bank and the greeters at Costco. She was always sharing recipes, gardening tips (even seeds when she could), and helping out those in need. In the past she enjoyed “adopting” people whether it was her daughter’s school friends, someone from church or some she saw regularly when out around the town. She worked as at a few jobs over the years but her true passions were gardening, canning, and creating things to fit needs around the house. She was a firm believer in God and shared her faith with others,

Janet was the daughter of the late James Davis and Lena Davis (nee Rader) and the younger sister of Arvella Hezel. She is survived by her daughter Pam (husband Nick), grandson Nicholas, granddaughter Kristen, her nieces Rebecca (husband David) Prince, Barbara Hezel, nephew Robrt (wife Lori) Hezel and extended family. As well as the many “adopted” children: Cherie, Ron, Rob, Danny, Scott, Joe, Jim, and many more.
