Janice Fay Taylor

Janice “Fay” Taylor, daughter of Henry Buford Taylor Jr and Sarah Arnette Taylor, was born on March 12, 1946 in Richmond Virginia. Fay passed peacefully and entered heaven the early morning of July 21, 2024 following a period of declining health in Alliance, Ohio.

Fay loved her children and was blessed to enjoy her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family was the most important thing to her. She always enjoyed hearing from her family and friends on the phone or when they visited. Fay was very artistic and loved making crafts, drawing, and painting. She was a girl scout leader and was very active in her children’s sports activities as they were growing up. She will be greatly missed until we see her again in heaven. May she be our guardian angel and watch over her family and friends. 

She is survived by her Daughter Lisa Fay (Johnny) Burns (Canton, Ohio), Son, Nathan David Light (Henrico, VA); Granddaughter, Sarah Catherine (Curtis) Moyer (Magnolia, Ohio); Grandson, Jason Andrew Burns (Chesterfield, Va); Great-Grandson, Roman Alexander Burns; Great-Granddaughter, Ruby Claire Burns, and Sister, Sylvia Bruce Garrison Arbogast (Henrico, Va). She is preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Service will be held at Lakeside United Methodist Church, 2333 Hilliard Rd, Richmond, VA 23228, on September 3, 2024, at 2 PM. Family and Friends all welcome. Condolences and special memories of Fay can be shared with her family online at www.hertiagecremationsociety.com
