Janine Mckelvin

Janine McKelvin, 50, of Canton, OH passed away on May 30, 2023 at home. She was born to George P. and Vivian E. Richards on August 9, 1972 in Cleveland, OH. She grew up in Kansas City, KS and spent her youth making memories with her siblings. After graduating from high school, she spent her time working in customer service before becoming a homemaker. She loved listening to music, spending the warm summer days by the beach in Florida, vacationing with her family, shopping and spending time with her family, and spoiling her grandkids Royalty and Tazz (her children’s pets).

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her father, George P. Richards: one sister, Monica G. Dotson; her children, Jordan D. Goudeau, and Aisha L. Williams; her nieces, Mariana D Massey and Alyssa Richards; and her long-time best friend, Kristin Hausen; and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Vivian E. Chancellor and her brother, George P. Richards Jr. and her nephew, George P. Richards III.
