Jean Ann Swartz

Jean Ann Swartz age 84 of Louisville, formerly of McKeesport, Pennsylvania took God’s hand and went to the heavenly kingdom on March 27, 2021.  Born July 4, 1936 in Star Junction, Pennsylvania to the late Sherman and Helen (Raudman) King of Belle Vernon, PA. Jean worked at her family’s restaurant, Kings Dinette from a young age where she met her late ex-husband Art.  Art had his own business where she was a secretary, bookkeeper and in addition a homemaker always taking care of her family.  Later in life, she worked for the Peer Group and Marc as a telephone survey representative.  Jean was a member of Central Highlands Church in Elizabeth, PA. where she was a choir director in the 70’s; she loved to sing the old hymns.  Almost 6 years ago Jean moved to Louisville, Ohio to live with her daughter, Brenda and son-in-law, Dennis.  She attended Adult Day Service at St. Joe’s and thrived in living life.  She had many, many friends there and enjoyed coloring, doing crafts, singing and just being with everyone.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra London and her sister, Carole Lee Kovesdy.

She is survived by her children, Brenda (Dennis) Daily of Louisville Ohio, Karen Spurgeon of Coral Springs Florida; grandchildren, Lauren (Marco) Oberlin-Dalpra, Kimberly (Reid) Rhodes, Luke Jennings, Liam Jennings, Aimee London, Jason London; great-grandchildren, Cameron Oberlin, Natalie Oberlin, Andrew Jakub Jr; and brother, Sherman “Buck” (Lily) King, whom she loved dearly.
