Jeanine Ann Garn-McGilvray, 66, passed away on January 27, 2021 in Strongsville, Ohio of a rare blood disease.
She was born in Cleveland to Joseph and Beverly Garn.
Jeanine is survived by her husband of 38 years, Craig B. McGilvray; her children, Jessica Alice Moran – Pennington, Jarrid McGilvray – Garn – Sherrard and Lindsay Ann Sherrard – Carlberg (Marcus); a granddaughter, Marlyn Cay Carlberg; her mother Beverly Garn ; a sister, Julie and brothers, Jerry and Joel.
To know Jeanine for her short 66 years of life was to love her, and her indomitable, beautiful spirit.
She took pride in being the best Mother and Homemaker. She loved baking every dish and making sure everyone was full, yet still had room for her famous sweet rolls. She always had snacks ready when the kids came home from school.
Jeanine loved living on the farm, where she enjoyed gardening, canning, feeding the cows, chickens, and of course, the kitty’s and her dogs, Buddie and Katie.
She was very active and enjoyed going for walks on the farm, through the woods to Lake Vino. Where she would go fishing and swimming.
Jeanine will be greatly missed. She was so kind and thoughtful of others, and wished everyone a good life.
She held on to life long enough, through the pain, to see her first grandchild born. Which gave her great joy and hope for her new granddaughter’s life ahead.
Jeanine will rest in peace now that the pain and suffering are over.
She would say, “Don’t mourn for me, but celebrate my life to the hilt on this extraordinary planet.”
A Celebration of Life will be held at her family farm at a later date, when the Covid Pandemic is over.
She will be missed by all. Rest in peace our Dearest Mother.
