Jefrey G. Dotson

Jeffrey G. Dotson, 59, of Massillon unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. He was born April 3, 1963 to the late C. Gene and M. Arlene Dotson. Jeff graduated from Perry High School and obtained a Bachelor Degree from Kent State University and a Master Degree from the University of Akron.
Jeff worked for the Stark County Regional Planning Commission for 35 years, most recently as the SCATS Technical Director.
Jeff enjoyed playing golf, participating in various leagues and was an avid sports fan. He was a supporter of the Wilderness Center, along with his mother and sister. Jeff also had a love for music and played several instruments and participated in the Players Guild productions for many years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Janet Sisler.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
