Jerod K. Kerstetter, 40 of Dellroy, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at the Compassionate Care Center in Canton. Born in Canton on November 23, 1981 to Keith and Theresa (Ebner) Kerstetter, he had been a life-long resident of Dellroy and Carrollton area. Jerod graduated from Carrollton High School, afterwards working as a bricklayer for Reidl Construction. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son, Wiatt. He was an avid fan of baseball from watching his son’s baseball games, to his favorite team, the Cleveland Guardians. Jerod was a huge fan of the Cleveland Browns. Aside from sports, Jerod loved watching the Food Network. He loved to brag about his children, Hailey and Wiatt, he always said no one’s kids were better than his.
Jerod was preceded in death by his grandparents, Merlin Kerstetter, and Thomas and Betty Ebner. He is survived by his children, Hailey and Wiatt Kerstetter; parents, Keith and Theresa (Ebner) Kerstetter; grandma, Joan (Yetzer) Kerstetter; siblings, Amber (Gary) Kerstetter-Fogle, Jacob (Jessica) Kerstetter; nephews, Kai and Gage; niece, Amelia; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
