Jerry Klembarsky born April 7, 1946 passed away peacefully on February 14, 2023 after a long fight with cancer and heart disease. Jerry was a Vietnam veteran, earning a Purple Heart after a bomb explosion did irreparable damage to his eyes. After spending one year at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, surgeons were able to return vision to one eye. Jerry always cherished his time as honor guard with VFW Post 5137 and in serving the community after retirement for many years at the local food bank. Jerry was a father who loved both of his daughters and in his later years enjoyed outings to museums and watching football with family on the weekends. Jerry was so grateful for the caretakers who watched over him this last year, most especially his grandson, Evan, and his nurse, Diana, both making sure he could stay in his home, rest in his favorite chair and watch his favorite westerns.
Jerry is survived by beloved daughters, Michele R. Metcalf (Bill Brattt) and Keri L. Huff (Mike);
