Joan Rose Sigmund

Joan Rose Sigmund (DeFrancesco) of Streetsboro, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November 4th, 2023 at the age of 85.

Joan was born June 13th, 1938 in Cleveland, Ohio where she later met Peter Sigmund. Peter and Joan were married on September 1st, 1973. She was loved by many friends and family. Joan loved to bake for holidays, birthdays and any time one of her 3 grandchildren asked for a tasty treat.

Joan is survived by her daughter, Lori Konik (Sigmund), grandsons, Brandon (Kaley) Konik, R.J. (Angela) Konik, Shawn Konik and her great-grandchildren, Madilyn, Alayna, Willam, Sophia and Austin.

Joan is preceded in death by her husband, Peter Sigmund, her brother, Lou DeFrancesco, sister in-law, Kathy DeFrancesco, father, Vincenzo (James) DeFrancesco and mother, Concetta (Clara) DeFrancesco.
