Joann C. Pompei, (nee Kovar), passed away Monday, September 21, 2020 at Westlake Rehabilitation Center.
She was born April 12, 1954 in Lakewood to the late Joe and Helen (nee Barna) Kovar.
Beloved sister of Donna M. Grauberger of Iowa, Eileen Tokar of Brook Park, Ohio, Patricia McJunkens of Williamston, South Carolina and Rachele Montrose of Lakewood, Ohio; Auntie of 12, Great Auntie of 25. Longtime friend of Debbie Damico and close friend to many.
Joann was a dedicated Registered Nurse who received many awards for her work. She had a great love for people. She also loved taking care of her gardens, her orchids and of course, her beloved pets.
Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, October 24
th
, 2020 at 11:30 am at St. John Bosco Church, 6480 Pearl Rd., Parma Heights, Ohio.
Interment will be at 1:00 pm at Holy Cross Cemetery, followed by a luncheon at St. John Bosco’s Hall at 2:00 pm
