John D Harold Muntean

John D Harold Muntean, age 65, of Canton, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 27, 2023.  He was born on December 7, 1957 in Canton where he had resided most of his life.  John was a retired painter.  John enjoyed working on cars and riding his motorcycle. As he would say he was jack of all trades and master of none.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Moise (Moe) and Inez Muntean; Betty (Mom) Lowe; brothers, James (Gump) Muntean and Richard (Dick) Muntean.

John is survived by his daughter, Brandy Cherubuini of Canton; sons, John Muntean of Massillon, Robert Muntean of Canton and Justin Muntean of California; his brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Dodie Muntean of Massillon; his former wife, Michele Muntean of Canton; Wilbert (Dad) Lowe of Little Hocking OH; his companion, Missy Betz of Canton;  eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; as well as many extended family and friends.

John’s wish was to be cremated.  There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, June 25, 2023, 1-4 p.m. at the Eagles in Massillon, Ohio. Condolences and special memories of John can be shared with his family online at www.heritagecremationsociety.com
