John J. Patterson, Jr. age 58 died suddenly at his home in Cleveland, Ohio.
John, fondly known as “Jack” was a dedicated employee of Cuyahoga County Protective Services for 30 years. He was a true blue Steelers fan and fireworks expert. He loved his dog Bear, and deceased pets Pugsley, Star, Boomer and Mickey. Jack loved retirement and enjoyed long walks, fishing and getting together with friends sipping Jack Daniels to the sound of old time rock and roll. He had a contagious laugh and one of a kind sense of humor. He will truly be missed by his family and many friends.
He was one of five children of Emma (nee Kocsis) and John Patterson; survived by his siblings Debra Quinn (Robert Milliron), Patricia Eckerfield, Kathleen Katakos (James), and James (Jennifer) Patterson; uncle to John Eckerfield, Charles and Daniel Quinn, Nicole Katakos, James and Jonathan Patterson; great-uncle to Charles James Quinn,
There will be no services due to Covid. A celebration of Life will be determined at a later date by his lifelong friend Donald Renfro.
