John “Jack” T. Leonhard

John (Jack) T. Leonhard, age 77, passed away on January 31, 2023. Jack was born in Akron, Ohio on September 29, 1945. Jack served in the U.S. Navy on the USS McCloy as a Fire Control Technician during Vietnam from 1964-1968. Jack was an airplane mechanic working in Canton, OH, Wichita, KS, Philadelphia, PA, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Indianapolis, IN, and Pittsburgh, PA.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and C. Angeline Leonhard.

Jack is survived by his wife of 30 years Jai; brothers: Victor (Lily) Leonhard Jr., and Robert Leonhard; sister: Patricia (Keith) Knodt; nieces: Sharon Leonhard (Michael) Gaugler, and Cookkie (Rob) Baker; nephews: William (Vikki) Leonhard, and Victor (Marcie) Leonhard III; great-nieces: Lily Gaugler, Vivian Leonhard, and Rosie Baker; great-nephews: Grant Gaugler, and Victor Leonhard IV.
