John L. Hood Ii

John L. Hood II passed away April 1, 2019 at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born December 19, 1938 to the late John and Ruth Hood. He was a 1st LT in the US Army and proudly served as a marksman winning many honors and recognition for his accuracy and service. He owned his own insurance agency and made his living selling insurance for many years.

John is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte Hood of Maple Heights; his children Renee (Teri) Troutman of Cleveland, John L. Hood, III of Moorpark, CA, Liz (Herb) Hood of Murrells Inlet, SC, and Lynette (RV) Vela of Big River, CA; granddaughter, Chelsea Beck of Brooklyn, NY and grandsons John L. Hood, IV and James Hood of Camarillo, CA as well as several very close cousins.

He will be honored and laid to rest on September 16, 2019 at the Clarion Cemetery, Clarion, PA.
