John Oliver Sr

John Edward Oliver Sr. From Canton, Ohio aged 75 years of age passed away on November 19, 2024. John was born on May 23, 1949 in Richwood, West Virginia to Orville Norman Oliver and Easter Butler Oliver. He was a loving grandfather and father who loved his family. He loved to read his bible and was a devout Christian. He enjoyed working on cars, warm summers and fellowship with church members. 

He is survived by his children, Loretta Oliver, John Oliver Jr. and Rachel Devore; 7 grandchildren Kayla Chapman, Katarina Chapman, Bradley Chapman Jr., Tori Thornton, John Slack IV, Mercedes Secrest, Cierra Oliver and Dakota Oliver; 8 great grandchildren; and his 4 brothers and sisters. 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Susan Oliver, mother and father, Orville Oliver and Easter Oliver, sister, Rebecca Beckett, grandsons, Christian Thornton and Charles Slack.
