John Vertolli Sr
John Vertolli Sr. age 84 of East Canton, Ohio passed away December 23, 2021 after a long illness. He was a 1955 graduate of Middlebranch High School and a graduate of the American Technical Institutes.
John is retired from American Electric Power and Controlled Power. He was a member of Christ the Servant Catholic Church. John was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 341, Grand Knight 4
th
degree, the Fraternal Order of Eagles #2370 McKinley and member of the Canton Gyro Club.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lorenzo and Lena Vertolli; a sister, Madeline; a brother, Andrew; and his son and daughter-in-law, John Jr. and Renee Vertolli.
John is survived by his wife, Anita (Calabrese) Vertolli, to whom he was married to for 63 years; a daughter, Catherine (Gary) McKinney of Waynesburg, Ohio; son, James (Laura) Vertolli of North Canton, Ohio; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at Christ the Servant Catholic Church with Monsignor Gateano officiating Friday, January 14, 2022 at 11:00AM. There will be no calling hours. Donations may be made to Christ the Servant, and you may leave your condolences online in the guestbook at
