John W. Hill
John W. Hill went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 13, 2023 at the age of 74 surrounded by his wife and their children. After a courageous 7 year battle of Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinsons the Lord finally called him home.
John was born in Akron, Ohio on November 4, 1948 to the late Theodore and Laura Hill. He was the youngest of 8 children. John was preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters and 2 brothers. He is survived by his wife Laurel of 43 years, sons Jonathan (Stephanie) Hill, Joseph (girlfriend Amy) Hill, daughter Jessica (Rick) Edwards, sisters Nancy Nofsinger and Renie (John) Thomas, and precious grandchildren Jeremiah, Viviana, Braylen, Rileigh, Jazmyne, Caleb, Charli and baby girl due in June, and several nieces and nephews.
John was always the life of the party with his sense of humor making everyone laugh with his funny stories. John had a love of sports and dedicated his time coaching pee-wee football and basketball for his children. He enjoyed fishing and gardening, but John’s true passion was spending time with his family, especially his 3 children and 7 grandchildren.
We’re thankful for our time together and John will truly be missed by all.
