Joseph Carl Wollam III, 85 of Minerva, Ohio passed away August 18
th
, 2021. He was born in East Liverpool, Ohio. He was the son of the late Joseph “Carl” and Alice Wollam. Joe grew up working a dairy farm and enjoyed hard work. He had a great zeal for life that affected all those who knew him. He had a deep love and affection for animals. Joe was a baptized member of the Minerva Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. His great love for people was seen in the way he lived his life. He devoted 57 years to teaching others about the Bible. He always had a positive attitude, was truly forgiving and never gave up on people. His exuberant laugh and zest for life will be truly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Carol (Sachs); two children, Joseph “Chip” (Kate) Wollam IV and Wendy (Kurt) Poling; dearly loved grandchildren, Brandon (Traci) Nemenz, Chloe Ott, Brennan (Brooke) Wollam and Natalie Wollam; delighted in nine great-grandchildren, Devyn, Daisi and Dresden Nemenz, Janelle and Matthew Ott, Kiantay and Kyra Dixon, Hadley and Hudson Wollam; nieces and nephews, Cheryl (Worch), Haydn, Baron and Bernice (Tilton) Decker and Joe Mark and Robbie Carl Prokop; and hundreds of friends and the many lives he touched.
Memorial service will be September 19
th
at 3pm on Zoom. The room will be open at 2:30 p.m. Officiated by Mark Smith.
