Joshua Paul Thompson

Joshua Paul Thompson, 43, of Coshocton, passed away in the home he hand-built himself. Josh was always the type of person you’d find by any lake, pond, or river, doing what he really enjoyed: fishing. On the weekends, you’d see him at the bar, being the champ at pool that he was. If you knew Josh in school, or simply knew him, you would know he was one for a good laugh—a prankster, you would say, and super ornery too! Josh was super creative. Whether it was pen, paint, or pencil, he always came up with something cool and unique. He was also one to build and create things when he had to improvise. Working on his vehicles was another hobby he not only had to do but enjoyed as well. Above all, Josh loved spending time with his daughter, Jocelyn. He will be deeply missed by all his beloved family and friends. 

Josh is preceded in death by his father, Terry Keith Thompson; stepfather, John William Lawrence; grandfather, Jack Bebout; grandmother and grandfather, Rebecca and Ed Stiteler; grandpa and grandma, Paul and Zelma Thompson. 

Josh is survived by his mother, Lorie Lawrence; his daughter, Jocelyn Thompson; his siblings, Ashley Fuller, Jessica Porter, and Jennifer Lawrence; and many other beloved family member and friends.
