Joyce Carol Fox
Joyce Carol Fox, age 71, died peacefully at home on January 6, 2018, after an extended illness. She was born on July 4, 1946, in Port Clinton, Ohio. She is remembered as a loving mother by her sons, Russell (Macy), Gerald (Dawn), and Scott; and her daughter, Michelle; and as a wonderful “Nana” by her grandchildren, Christopher, Logan, Davis, Elizabeth, Benjamin, and Abigail.
She is survived by her brothers, Edgar Williams and Paul Williams; and her sisters, Dorothy Graham, Patricia Scruggs, and Judy Lowe. She was preceded in death by her brother, Leon Williams, and her parents, Leon and Geneva (Mullins) Williams.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, January 21, at The Church on the Boulevard, 754 Kenmore Blvd., Akron, Ohio 44314.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Church on the Boulevard Food Bank. Condolences and special memories can be shared with the family at
