Jude Ann Tibbetts (nee Kluzik)

Jude Ann Tibbetts (nee Kluzik), age 81, a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend passed away peacefully on April 5, 2025. Jude was born in Cleveland, Ohio on October 10, 1943 to the late Chester and Ruth (Washington) Kluzik. She grew up with 2 younger sisters, Karen (deceased) and Elizabeth. After graduating from High School (at age 16 by the way!) she attended Saint Elizabeth Hospital School of Nursing and began her lifelong passion of caring for others. She met and eventually married Roger Tibbetts and they lived and raised their four children in Lakewood, Ohio. She was very involved with her children’s schools, her church and volunteering. She spent summers at Linwood Park in Vermilion and winters in Naples, Florida and it brought her so much joy to share these places with her family and friends.

Loving mother of Beth Tibbetts Williams (Scott), Michelle Tibbetts, Julie McAndrews and Brian Tibbetts; Dearest grandma to 15 grandchildren who were all her “favorites” Kevin, Brendan, Makenzie, June (Jasmine), Parker, Liam, Austin, Maggie, Morgan, Nolan, Maeve, Spencer, Henry, Ruth and Frances.

Jude will be remembered for her warmth, generosity and strength. She was a “mom” and “grandma” to many even outside of her family. She loved creating memories and traditions and brought joy and comfort to everyone she crossed paths with. Two of her favorite quotes—“Do your best and God will do the rest” and “I love you to the moon and back”

Memorial Service and reception following at St. Ladislas Catholic Church, 2345 Basset Rd. Westlake, Ohio 44145 on Friday May 16, 2025 at 11am.
