Judith "Judy" Reeling, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2024, in Wadsworth, Ohio, at the age of 82. Born in Wadsworth in 1942, Judy was a lifelong resident of the town she loved. She is survived by her devoted husband, Neil Reeling, with whom she shared 59 years of marriage, and her cherished family, including her two sons and their families.

Judy was the proud mother of Scott Reeling, his wife Michele, and their daughter Sydni, as well as Steve Reeling, his wife Lisa, and their children Tanner, Faith, and Lincoln. She took great joy in being an integral part of her children’s and grandchildren’s lives, attending countless sporting events and extracurricular activities, always providing loving support.

Judy was known for her exceptional talents as a gourmet cook and hostess. She often spent days preparing intricate meals for holidays, birthdays, or any occasion that gathered her family together. For her, celebrations were more than just the food; the house and table were transformed with thoughtful and beautiful decorations, making every occasion feel magical. Christmas, in particular, was a treasured time of year, with every room in her home adorned in festive splendor and filled with unforgettable meals.

Judy had a passion for bridge and enjoyed many years playing in several clubs, sharing laughs and camaraderie with her friends. She also cherished the family’s annual beach vacations to Emerald Isle, North Carolina, where her sons’ families would come together for days of relaxation, laughter, and, of course, Judy’s outstanding meals.

In their later years, Judy and Neil embraced their love for travel, embarking on annual road trips to watch the NCAA Final Four basketball tournaments, creating memories that would last a lifetime.

Judy will be remembered for her selfless dedication to her family, her passion for entertaining, and her warm, welcoming spirit. She was the epitome of kindness, making everyone around her feel instantly comfortable. A healthcare provider who cared for her in her final days remarked, "She was one of those people you instantly like and feel comfortable with."

Judy's passing leaves an unfillable void in the lives of those who knew and loved her, but her legacy of love, warmth, and family togetherness will endure for generations.

The family will hold a private funeral ceremony in her honor. Condolences and special memories of Judy can be shared with her family online at www.heritagecremationsociety.com
