Junior Miller

Junior L Miller (JR) age 86 passed away January 7, 2023 after extended illness. Son of George and Lydia (Lumley) Miller born on August 25, 1936 in Carrollton, Ohio. He retired from General Color in Minerva, Ohio after many years of service.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Margaret Miller, mother of his children Carolyn Miller, close friend, Patricia Solenthaler, and 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

He is survived by his children, Rodney (Missy) Miller, Audrey (David) Capestrain, David (Jennifer) Miller, Gary (Amanda) Miller, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Junior loved classic country music, a good burnt hot dog over a fire, was a great euchre player and loved playing it at any family gathering. He enjoyed going to his grandchildren’s sporting events. He bowled for many years at Forest Lanes in Kensington and looked forward to his yearly bowling tournaments across the country. He also loved going to county fairs. Many family cookouts were initiated by his need for “a hamburger and a dog”.

He will be missed by all. Arrangements handled by Heritage Cremation Society. Per his request there will be no services at this time. The family will hold a cookout in his honor at a later date.
