Karen Spyrou

On the morning of March 31, 2021, Karen Spyrou of Canton, Ohio went home to be with the Lord at the age of 73.  Karen was born to Mary Margaret and Eric Paul Anderson in 1948. Karen’s passion was cosmetics and beauty. She attended the Innerstate Beauty School and received her license to work in salons in 2001. She worked for Estee Lauder and Lancôme at Macys as well as numerous retail stores including, Montgomery Ward, Macy’s, and TJ Maxx. She will very much be missed by her family and friends. Where Karen was, there was always goofiness and laughter. Karen was a member at the NW Church of Christ in Canton, Ohio where she accepted Jesus as her Savior in baptism in 2010.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents, Eric and Mary Margaret, and grandmother, Agnes Owen.

She is survived by her daughters, Kim (Justin) Broel and Denise (Brian) Wall; five grandchildren, Alexis, McKayla, Jaydin, Kamrin and Logan; three great-grandchildren, Landon, Brantley and Myleigh; brother, Paul (Helg) Anderson; cousin, Boots; and best friends, Sue Saley and Minas Spyrou.
