Kathleen Driskill, 97, left this life on January 16, 2017. She was born to John and Ada Driskill on June 20, 1919 in Alabama. Kathleen attended Akron Public Schools and graduated from the Erma Lee School of Cosmetology. During her early adult years in Akron she was briefly married to Robert Nunn. During her career, Kathleen worked in cosmetology and at the United States Postal Service in Cleveland. Aunt Kat was the youngest of nine sisters and also had seven brothers, all of whom she cherished. She was a member of OASIS, volunteered at the Haven of Rest, and was a faithful member of the WCG group at Arlington Church of God. Aunt Kat leaves a stepdaughter, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss her tremendously. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Arlington Church of God or Haven of Rest Ministries, both of Akron, Ohio. In accordance with Aunt Kat’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no memorial service will be held. Condolences can be shared with the family at
