Kathleen Marie Norton
Kathleen Marie Norton, 77, of Canton, Ohio passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Aultman Hospital Compassionate Care Center. She was born April 17, 1945, and preceded in death by her parents Matthew and Margaret (Zerecheck) Kastelic, and sister Sue Bina.
Kathy worked for years as a Registered Nurse with the American Red Cross and Community Hospice, until retiring in 2008. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family, as well as traveling to the beach. She could often be found having fun at the casino at one of her favorite slot machines. Her greatest joys in life were her daughters and her four grandchildren. She had the most generous heart and never hesitated to provide for those she loved.
Kathy is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Anderson) and Lauren Norton; son-in-law Charlie Stopski; 4 grandchildren, Hannah Norton, Maggie Dan, Max Stopski, and Quinn Stopski, and niece, Sarah Holmes (Bina).
No services will be held, per her wishes, but donations may be made in her memory to Aultman Hospital Compassionate Care Center/Aultman Hospice. Condolences and special memories of Kathy can be shared with her family online at
