Kathryn I. Kinsey
Kathryn I. Kinsey of Mineral City passed away November 29, 2022 at the age of 69. Kathy always had a fondness for baking and with the help of sister and mother, started an in-home bakery, Blue Ribbon Bake Shop, with pies, cookies, candies and pizzelles delivered to customers.
Kathy became a very active member of Jehovah Witnesses. When she read Psalm 83:18 in her Bible at a very young age, learning God’s name was Jehovah, sparked her interest and her love for Jehovah and Jesus grew. When her health prevented her from witnessing publicly, her desire to help others was still there. For many years she wrote letters of comfort, sharing positive encouragement from the scriptures to those who had lost loved ones in death. She had deep conviction in God’s word. One of her many favorite scriptures was Revelation 21:3-4, in part “death will be no more”. Kathy had a love for God’s Creation. She was a cat owner and enjoyed their company.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Lynn and most recently a brother-in-law, Ray Wise.
Kathy is survived by brothers Kenny, Leslie (Ruth), Ronald (Barb), Conrad, sister, Cynthia Wise, along with nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.
Visitation will be December 17, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Memorial Services beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness South New Philadelphia Congregation located at 1212 Kelly St., New Philadelphia, Ohio. Or Join Zoom Meeting
