Katie Marie Baisden

Katie Marie (Tabor) Baisden went home to be with the Lord on October 15th, 2024. She fought incredibly hard, defying all odds for over a year. Her story of strength, courage, and determination will not be her final chapter. She had a heart of gold and was tougher than nails. 

Katie was born to Lynn A Tabor and Jacquelyn S (Roach) Tabor on October 29th, 1982, in Greenville Pennsylvania. She grew up in Williamsfield, Ohio attending Pymatuning Valley schools as a graduate of 2001. She attended Ohio State ATI where she earned her Associates degree in Equine Science. Shortly after, she attended Kent State University where she earned her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. 

Katie was employed by multiple companies. However, one of her favorite memories was her career in Anesthesiology for 11 years with Dr. Jim Cantoni and his employees.

Katie married her beloved husband David C Baisden on August 22nd, 2020, and became a wonderful stepmother to Oliver R Baisden. Becoming a stepmother was one of her most cherished blessings. 

She adored her family, being an aunt, and putting others first. Anybody that knew her knew her love for horses. This included joining her father Lynn at horse pulls and the Christmas Tree Farm. 

She was survived by her husband David C Baisden, stepson Oliver R Baisden, her father Lynn A Tabor, her mother Jacquelyn S (Roach) Tabor, her brother Randy (Chenelle) Tabor, Grandfather Gary A Tabor, along with many aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends. 

Preceded in death by grandmother Darlene M (Fuller) Tabor, grandfather Harry (Pauline) Roach, and Grandmother Lorretta J (Winlund) Roach.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, October 24th, 2024, at Word of Grace Church in Chesterland, Ohio with services at 5:30pm. Word of Grace Church is located at 9021 Mayfield Rd.
