Kenneth Taylor Sr.

Kenneth Taylor Sr. was born on July 24,1948 to Essie Banks and the late Julius Landrum. He passed away July 3, 2018. Kenneth was a lifelong resident of Akron, OH and attended Akron Public Schools. He was employed by Power Manufacturing Plant in Marion, Ohio. Kenneth loved to go fishing with his son and great grandchild. He also loved to watch football and the Cleveland Indians games with his mother.

He is preceded in death by his father, Julius Landrum; sister, Regina Williams; and twin brothers, Eddie and Freddie Taylor.

He is survived by his mother, Essie Banks; brothers, Tony Taylor and Tyrone Keith; sisters, Emma Benson and Ramona Mitchell; sons, Kenneth Taylor Jr (Theresa) and James Bussey; grandchildren, Shyanne Taylor, Kenneth Taylor III, Paris Taylor (Sheila), Shaniece Taylor (Dontee), Jailynn Bussey, Jamie Bussey, Raylynn Bussey, Ellie Bussey and Erykah Bussey. He also leaves to cherish his memory six great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

A service Celebrating his life and repast will be held at Higher Ground Worship Center, 380 Wooster Rd N in Barberton, OH 44203 with Pastor Dr. William N. Bridges III officiating on Saturday, July 28th, 2018 at 1:00 pm.
