Leanne Marie Asuncion

Leanne Marie Asuncion lived a truly beautiful life for 66 years and joined her brothers and parents in spirit in the early morning hours of November 29, 2022.  She was born June 25, 1956 in Des Moines, Iowa to Oscar (Bill) Oder and Delores (Joan) Oder. She was their third child and only daughter.  Her family moved to Sacramento when Leanne was a year old, and she remained there until 1991 when the winds shifted and led her to Texas. In 2020, another season brought another state and Leanne moved to Ohio where she lived until her untimely death.

Leanne married at 18 years of age to Patrick Flanagan and had two children – Shawn Patrick and Heather Lynn Flanagan.  She later married again and gave birth to two more sons – Buddy David and Paul Michael Tincher.

Leanne was a free spirit with a gypsy soul, never staying in one place for too long and making friends everywhere she went. To know her was to love her and be loved by her. She enjoyed life, all it had to offer and fiercely loved her family – from her four children to her twelve grandchildren to her four nieces, nephew and their children.  She will be remembered as someone who was gracious with compliments and “I love you.” Though she had little, she gave much.  And she will always be remembered as Special Grandma.

Leanne was joined in death by her two furbabies, Klowie and Sammy.  She was preceded in death by her brothers, Buddy and Bobby and her parents, Joan and Bill.  She is survived by her children, Shawn Flanagan and his wife Natalie, Heather Pritchard, Buddy Tincher and his wife Renee, and Paul Tincher. She leaves behind 12 grandchildren (Nevaeh and Tristen Flanagan, Erin and Alex Pritchard, McKayla Tincher, Jayden, Payton and Hayden Simank, Noah Batchelor, McKenlee Boren, Paul Tincher, Jr, and Gavyn Kelly) plus her nieces (Liberty, Candice, Crystal and Joanne) and a nephew (Boyd) and numerous friends and church family.
