Linda C. Ockajik (Nee Bays), 73, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019. She was born in Coal City, WV to Lloyd and Hester Bays.
She is survived by her son, John E. Ockajik of Mesa, AZ and grandson, John A. Ockajik of Gilbert, AZ.
Linda loved to write stories and poems, she was always doing puzzles and watching her favorite crime shows. She was a big fan of the Cleveland Browns and never missed a game on TV.
One of her favorite things to do was to bake cookies and banana bread for her grandson, John. Every holiday or visit from him had her baking away.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Ockajik who passed away May of 2017 and her son, Jeff A. Ockajik who passed away September 29, 2018.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place.
