Linda Lou DeWees

Our dear mother, Linda Lou (Sickles) DeWees passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 18, 2024, at the age of 80. She was a wonderful mother, who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. A friend to many, she was a cherished member of the community in Canton, Ohio, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and strength. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond DeWees; mother and father, Howard and Juanita Sickles; her brother, Raymond Sickles.

She leaves behind her children, Harry (Cindy) Cunningham, Brian (Maria) Cunningham, David (Renee) Cunningham, Lisa Stine, Michael (Brandi) Cunningham, her brother, Ronald (Peggy) Sickles; along with countless grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends who felt her warmth and generosity. 

The Bible says to be absent of the body is to be present with the Lord. Fly high Mom until we meet again….

Services will be held 12:00pm on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Paquelet Falk Funeral Home in Louisville with Pastor Terry Smith officiating. Family will receive friends 11:00a.m. until services begin.
