Lloyd J “Pete” Ramey

Lloyd J “Pete” Ramey passed away January 22, 2022, at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton, Ohio. He was born on May 24,1955, in Canton Ohio, the son of the late Lloyd “Guy” and Jinnie (Catron) Ramey. Pete was a 1974 graduate of Canton South High School and was employed at Republic Storage Systems for 32 years. He enjoyed fishing at Leesville Lake. Pete never met a stranger, was the neighborhood “Uncle” to all the kids and was always ready to lend a helping hand. Pete loved his family, friends and fur babies. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

Besides his parents, Pete was preceded in death by two brothers, William “Bubby” and Jim Ramey.

Pete leaves behind his wife, Cynthia (Worrell) Ramey whom he married March 31, 1979; brother-in-law, Scott (Janet) Worrell of Salem; nephew, Scott (Andrea) Worrell Jr.; great nephew, Vinnie Worrell of Austintown; several other nieces and nephews; as well as his adopted families, the Selby-Holbrooks, the Vanovers, and the Malaves of Louisville.
