Lois Ann Bunaisky (nee Burtnett), age 92, of Avon Lake, OH passed away peacefully on Friday, June 3, 2022. She was born on December 30, 1929 in Cleveland, OH to the late Harry and Emily Burtnett. Lois was a 1948 graduate of West Tech High School and spent 25 years managing motels in Galion, OH; Wichita Falls, TX; Austin, TX; Metairie, LA; Waco, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Columbus, OH; Newport, KY; Tallahassee, FL; Leesburg, FL; Panama City, FL; Cambridge, OH; Lansing, MI; Nashville, TX; St. Cloud, MN; Silvern Springs, FL; and Palmer, TX. During her time managing motels, she won awards for her landscaping and earned several trips to Hawaii as Manager of the Year. In later years, she retired from Target in Avon, OH.
Beloved wife of Leonard Bunaisky (deceased), Lois is survived by her son, Craig Inman; first husband, Paul Inman; step-children: Judy Hess (Harry, deceased and Phil, deceased), Joyce Woloszyn (Anthony, deceased), and Michael Bunaisky; grandchildren: Angie Scherler (Scott), Anthony Pelletti, Desiree Volney (David), Andrew Woloszyn, Kelly Beech (Sean), Ruth Inman, Leonard Bunaisky, and Becci Chambers (James); and great-grandchildren: Rachel, Meghan, Emily, Caleb, Hannah, Sarah, and Eva Beech, Amelia, Lucas, Tessa, Jaclyn, and Brad Volney, Alexis and Elizabeth Woloszyn, Sophia Pelletti, Lily and Rileigh Bunaisky, and Joshua and Anna Scherler; and many nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends. She is also survived by her sweet cat Bella and her beloved dog Snoopy.
Lois will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Avon, OH. Family, friends, and others are invited to a Celebration of Life to honor her life on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at 1:00pm at the Avon Lake Landings Club House, 425 Avon Belden Road, Avon Lake, OH 44012.
