Lori M. Jones

Lori M. (McDevitt) Jones age 63 of Strasburg passed suddenly in her home on Monday, September 2, 2024 

She was the daughter of the late John R. and Clara Mae McDevitt. Lori was born in Dennison on November 18, 1960. Lori was one of five children.

On September 29, 1992, Lori married the love of her life, Donnie Jones or “Jonesy” as she liked to call him. They spent 15 years happily married until Donnie’s passing on March 12, 2007.

Lori is survived by a brother Brian (Judy) McDevitt, their children, Brock (Vanessa) McDevitt and Nicolle (Jeff) Aul; two sisters, Melody Smith and her son, Bradon (Brittany) Smith and Daphne (Jeff) Brown and their children, Jeff (Lyndsey) Brown, Devin Brown, Caden Brown, Branson (Alesia) Brown and a sister-in-law, Karen McDevitt and her children, Francesca McDevitt and J0hn McDevitt II; as well as numerous great nieces and nephews, who she loved so very much. 

In addition to her parents, Lori was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie, her brother, John B. (Blaine) McDevitt and an infant niece.
