Louise Dolores Leo of Parma, Ohio, passed away quietly at Southwest General Hospital on Saturday, February 1, 2020 with her family by her side. She was 97.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio on October 21, 1922 to the late Peter and Sarah (Calabrese) Tanzi, she had a sister, Madeline Snowden and a brother, Peter Tanzi, Jr., both deceased.
Louise was married to Sam Leo, for 56 years, until his death. She is survived by her children Mary Louise Immormino of Strongsville, Roxanna Kluter of North Ridgeville and Frank Leo of Parma; by grandchildren, Nicole (Immormino) Thompson, Leah (Immormino) Aker, and Lauren Kluter; 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Louise enjoyed having a good time and had a great sense of humor. Watercolor painting and gardening were things she really enjoyed doing. Dancing was high on her list. “She and Dad danced a lot. We will miss her deeply”, her family shared. “Although she has left us for now, she has left behind some wonderful memories.”
A memorial mass will be held for family and friends on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 10:00AM at St. Francis de Sales Church, 3434 George Ave. Parma, OH 44134.
