Luise Karolina Trew, (Brandner), 87 passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 8, 2023.
Born in Augsburg, Germany to Karl and Aloisia (Wolf) Brandner, she grew up during WWII with her siblings, Rudolf, Leo, Walter, and Hannelore. Luise met and married Harry J. Smola, an American soldier. They had two children and immigrated to America in 1959, where they had two more children.
In 1969 Luise remarried Edward G. Trew and was an exceptional wife until his death in 2017.
Luise will be deeply missed by her family, daughters Anita Smola, Gloria Zelazo (Mike), Regina Frayne (Larry), Linda Mascak (the late George). Her four grandchildren, Melissa Hall (Richard), Mike Zelazo (Michelle), Karrie Buskila (Ofer), and Karl Mascak (Stephanie). Great grandchildren, William, Amber, Rachael, Savannah, Owen, Sam, Ori, Liam, Eitan, Asher, Leo, Aila, and Aura. Great great grandchildren, Lincoln, and London.
