Luther L. “Larry” Lydic lll age 63, went to be with the Lord on September 4, 2021, after a short illness. His Lydic smile and sense of humor will be sadly missed. Larry was born February 25, 1958, in Clearfield, Pennsylvania to his loving parents, Luther and Rose Lydic. Larry was a lifelong resident of Mantua, Ohio and his unexpectant passing has been deeply felt by many. He spent his youth years racing motocross and continued taking the checkered flag thru adulthood as a stock car racer. He was an avid bowler who took the 300 ring home multiple times. Larry worked alongside of his father at Lou’s Transmission for many years.
He is preceded in death by his father, Luther Lydic Jr. and mother, Rose (Litz) Lydic of Shalersville, Ohio.
Larry is survived by his daughter, Heather Rose Lydic of Akron; sisters, Vincie Swigeart and Tammy Reddick of Mantua; nieces, Kari Kimberlee Milam of Kent, Ohio and Kelli Rose Connell of Streetsboro, Ohio; nephews, Robert Levi Reddick of Southington, Ohio and Ryan Patrick Reddick of Mantua, Ohio.
A private memorial service will be held at a future date.
