Lynn C. Russell

Lynn C. Russell (nee Ayers) age 57 of Sheffield Lake passed away Friday July 5th surrounded by family. Lynn was born February 24th in Aurora, CO. Lynn was a resident of Sheffield Lake for 28 years and employed at Genfed Financial for 24 years. Lynn enjoyed many activities which included shopping, shopping, and shopping. She was also known to enjoy a margarita or two.

Lynn was a genuinely good person who impacted the lives of any person that was lucky enough to meet her. She was a beautiful woman Inside and Out and had the most infectious smile. Lynn was thoughtful, caring, sincere, hardworking, intelligent and Larger than Life. She was absolutely hilarious and fiercely protective of the people she loved and cared about. Lynn was a free spirit who believed that you should put love and kindness out into the world. She was simply fabulous.

She is survived by her husband and best friend of 29 years, Bo; two sons, Tyler and Jacob; grandson, Greyson Jeter Russell, all of Sheffield Lake; father, Fred Ayers of Westlake; sister, Cathy Friedman ( Steve) of Bowie, Maryland; brother, Jeff (Krista) of Waldorf, Maryland; and numerous nieces and nephews; great friends, Paul and Kristine Dence. Lynn also had two daughters from other mothers, Abygael Neal and Hailey Burns; and Nathan Birchfield who she loved as her own.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Norma (nee Vognild).

Her memory will live on in the hearts of those that she worked with including Felicia Andujar, Jamie Hunt, Anthony Baxter, and Jessica Bourisseau to name a few and the numerous members of Genfed whom she considered family.

A Celebration of Lynn’s life will be held Saturday, August 10th, from 5:00 pm till midnight at Breezewood Party Hall, 1461 Lake Breeze Rd. Sheffield Village, Ohio. Condolences can be shared with the family online at https://www.heritagecremationsociety.com/.
