Margaret Mary Cooper

Margaret M. Cooper, 66, of Lakewood, passed away peacefully with family at her side on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake after a short battle with cancer. Margaret was born on January 7, 1954 in Lakewood, to the late Francis P. and Adaline E. (O’Reilly) Moran.

Margaret enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Nothing brought her more joy than spending precious time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling and spending time on the beach. At the time of her passing, Margaret was a long-time employee of the Eaton Corporation where she made many friends through the years.

Survivors include son Nathan (Shannon) of Lakewood and daughter Sarah (Matthew) of Mentor; grandchildren, Ashley, Emma, Brady, Chase, and Payton; siblings, Charles (Suzi), Kathleen (Paul), Adaline, John (Patricia), Frank (Colleen) along with many other loving family and friends.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents Francis and Adaline (O’Reilly) Moran; siblings, Patrick (Wilma), Thomas, Mary Ellen, and Elizabeth.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, funeral services will be private. Margaret will be interred at Holy Cross Cemetery on Brookpark Road. A memorial service to celebrate Margaret’s life will be held at a later date.
