Mary passed away suddenly Wednesday November 22, 2017 at Aultman Hospital. She was born July 17th, 1955 to the late Kenneth E. Stewart and Ruby P. (Dyer) Stewart. Mary was a longtime resident of Canton, Ohio and a graduate of Lincoln High School, Class of 1973. She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Thomas V. Fildes; daughter, Taunya M. Fildes and her father, Kenneth E. Stewart.
She is survived by her mother, Ruby P. Stewart; brother, Kenneth Stewart; sisters, Dorris J. Henderhan, Cathy Pappas and Jacqueline Lesnak; five children, Jason (Becky) Fildes, Kevin (Jessica) Fildes, Melissa (Catharine) Fildes-McIntosh, Julie (Adam) Makowski and Emily (Troy) Harp; step-son, David (Monica) McCray and nine grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
In keeping with her wishes, no public services will be held. The family would like to invite friends to join them in a small gathering as they celebrate Mary’s life on Sunday, December 3rd at 2:00 pm at 2536 Winton Place NW, Canton, Ohio 44709.
