Mary Katherine Habas Dulaney

Mary Katherine Habas Dulaney age 73 of Akron,OH was welcomed by Jesus into her heavenly home on Wednesday January 8,2025.

She was born March 27, 1951 in Akron,OH to Michael and Rozalia Habas. Mary loved to sing, sew, play cards, bingo, and spending time with her family and more importantly her grandchildren. She loved Jesus and faithfully served Him always. Mary was deeply kind and compassionate and put everyone else above herself. 

Mary is survived by her husband, Gordon; her daughters, Ruth (Kent) Christensen and Crickett (Milan) Milosevic; son, Benjamin (Melissa) Dulaney; her granddaughters, Alexandria, Michaela, Amie, Kirsten, Hannah, Katelyn; grandson, Kyle. Mary is also survived by her sister, Marty Habas and brother, Michael (Gail) Habas. 

Mary loved spending time with her grandkids by going shopping, painting nails, playing games and cards ( and winning), doing crafts, and going to church together. She battled Parkinson’s for over 25 years but she never let it define who she was. She kept doing the things she loved, smiling, and serving everyone she could. 

We want to thank Dr Ellen Walters, mom’s neurologist, and Dr Sweet who gave her back her mobility with this new ground breaking surgery being one of the first patients in Cleveland. She made animal beds, wreaths, and crafts that were sellable to assist with animal medical care. All of these things were important to her.
