Mary Jo Lash

Mary Jo Lash (nee Hassing), age 74, died peacefully on January 2, 2025. She was born in Cleveland on June 19, 1950. Mary Jo was a friend to many, an avid reader, and she loved to spend time with family, particularly her grandsons. Making them laugh brought her much joy. 

Mary Jo is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Marian Hassing. 

She is survived by her daughters, Karen Lash and Jennifer Lash (Michael Klesta); grandsons, Davis and William Klesta; sister, Kathleen Calvey (Edward); niece, Molly Santana (Armando); and nephew, Andrew Calvey (Amy). 

The family will gather privately to honor the life of Mary Jo. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Heritage Cremation and Burial Society.
