Mary Kathleen Stevens, 74, of North Ridgeville, passed away on March 27, 2022 after battling cancer for a few years.
Mary was born on February 14, 1948, a Valentine baby, in Kenosha, Wisconsin to I. Kenneth Bohm and Jane Bohm (nee Tabbert) in Kenosha, Wisconsin. After graduating from Kenosha High School in 1966 she went on to Carthage college where she took courses for secretarial work.
After graduation she started working at Dynamatic along side her father. There she also met her husband of 25 years. Her husbands jobs took them from Wisconsin to Indiana, Ohio, New York and Kansas. While in New York she met her best friend (Alice Young) of almost 35 years. Alice and “Mare” had many adventures together that meant the world to both of them.
After losing her husband in 2001 she became the caregiver to her mother until her passing in 2006. Her hobbies included spending time with her friends and family as well as spoiling her three granddaughters, to whom she was known as “Ity” and she loved more than anything. Their most cherished times together will always be “dropping it down” in her BMW, and all the countless Build-a-Bear trips that had her grandkids feeling like they won the lottery. She also cared for her grand-dogs, Sophie and Louie, and spoiled them endlessly.
Mary is preceded in death by her two loving parents, Kenny and Jane and husband, Richard P Stevens. As well as her 3 cats that she adored, Sparky, Buddy and Minkie.
She is survived by her daughter Lisa (Justin) Endres; as well as her granddaughters, Taylor (Brandon) Dominick, Makenzie (Zack) Dominick and Aubrie Dominick.
No services will be held as Mary did not want any. In lieu of flowers the family asks to please make a donation to the American Cancer Society in her name.
