Matthew M. Mattern

Matthew M. Mattern 38 of Louisville, Ohio passed away peacefully on February 17, 2025. He graduated from Marlington High School. Matthew loved hunting, fishing, camping, traveling and his dog, Sadie who recently preceded in him death. He was self-employed, providing services throughout the community to anyone in need. Also employed by Josh’s Landscaping in which he loved plowing snow in the winter months. Matthew was an active member of Louisville Eagles and Louisville American Legion, enjoying talking to Vets and others. Those who knew him loved his contagious laugh and his love for his mother and his many friends.

Preceded in death by his father, Dwight and grandparents. 

Matthew is survived by his mother, Jane Mattern; aunt Anne (Jim Davis), Ben and McKenzie, uncle Dave (Pamela) Mollert; multiple loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and very large extended family on his father’s side.
