Maurice Leone

Maurice D Leone Jr 86 of Alliance Ohio, formally of Albany NY, passed away on November 22,2024 surrounded by his loving family and friends.

Moe which he was known by many, along with Dad, Pop, and Grandpa was born in Albany, NY on May 25,1938. He graduated high school from Vincentian Institute then joined the Coast Guard. He was a member of the Eagles Club in Ohio. He was a very social man and loved celebrating with family and friends. He loved sports and was an avid New York Yankees and New York Giants fan.

He was predeceased by his parents, Maurice and Theresa Leone, his brother, Joseph Leone and a granddaughter, Angel Leone.

He is survived by his children, Cindy Russo (Thomas), Michael Leone, Joseph Leone, Marc Leone (Maria), David Rutan, Lance Rutan (Tonya); his grandchildren, Nicole Shapiro (Michael), Amanda Russo, Michael Leone Jr., Bethany Rutan, Desiree’ Rohrer, Devin Leone, Kate-Lynn Brownfield (James), Kaylin Leone, Dominic Leone, Gage Rutan, Layne Rutan, Shawn Leone, and Cole Leone; 13 great grandchildren and many friends he considered family.
