Michael A. Tintinger

Michael A. Tintinger (Mike) age 87, of Canton, OH, passed away on November 1, 2024. Born on June 26, 1937, Michael was known for his vibrant personality, always being the life of the party and a beloved jokester. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter and cherished memories. 

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Ruth Tintinger; daughters, Denise Edwards, Laura Franks (Mike Hawkins), and Gloria Mitchell (Dumpy); son, Michael Tintinger (Bubba); fourteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael J. and Thelma (Russell) Tintinger, his sister, Beatrice, and granddaughter Jessica Dove Gallaway.

Professionally, Michael dedicated many years to his career as a truck driver until his retirement, a role he approached with the same dedication and integrity he applied to all areas of his life.

Michael's hobbies included working in his shed crafting bird windmills and carpentry work, a pastime through which he brought joy to many, as well as playing dice and fishing, activities that allowed him to enjoy the simpler pleasures in life.
