Michael Dale Wiles Jr

Michael (Mike) Dale Wiles, Jr. passed away on June 15, 2024 at his home in East Sparta, Ohio after a bout with cancer and other medical issues. He was born June 16, 1973 in Morgantown, West Virginia. He graduated from Tuscarawas Valley High School in 1992 and resided within that area throughout his life. He is survived by his son, Jarod Wiles (a.k.a. “the kid”) of New Philadelphia; the love of his life, Ruthie McMcEndres (a.k.a. “grumpy old troll”); cousin, Brent Simmons of Magnilia, Ohio; father and stepmother, Michael Wiles. Sr. and Louella (Cale) Wiles of Bolivar, Ohio; two sisters, Brandi (James) Evans of Ravenna,Ohio, Amanda Martin of Bolivar, Ohio; brother, Zachary (Kelly) Wiles of Hartville, Ohio; mother and stepfather, Peggy (Cole) Wolfe and David Wolfe of Morgantown, WV; and two brothers, David Wolfe and Brian Wolfe of Morgantown, WV; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents. He was last employed at A.R.E. (Real Truck) as a loader. Previously employment included Rt. 80 Express at an over the road truck driver, until declining health prevented driving and he became a mechanic within the shop. He did much volunteer work at Sandy Valley Church of God in Sandyville, Ohio including lawn care and building and grounds maintenance. 

He will be missed by many friends and family. A memorial service for friends and family will be held on July 27 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Sandy Valley Church of God, 11281 OH State Route 800, Magnolia, Ohio.
